About the position
As a Product Optimisation Engineer at Digital Metal, you get the opportunity to work with our Metal Binder Jetting printers, which are at the absolute forefront of metal 3D Printing. You will be responsible for starting up and optimizing production of new components, for external as well as internal customers. This includes the whole process from customer enquiries, quoting and order confirmation to setting up a functioning production process that meets the customer's needs. Examples of tasks are taking orders for prototype and optimization projects, preparing for the manufacturing process, optimizing build parameters, preparing for volume production and compiling measurement of the results and creating reports. You will work in a team with many experienced employees, and with a lot of customer contact.
Your profile
We are looking for a person with experience of working with customer service and experience of working in CAD systems. You enjoy problem solving and independently running different customer projects and have a great technical understanding. You work methodically and structured and document your activities. Since we work globally, it is a requirement to have good knowledge of English, both spoken and written. Experience in additive manufacturing is advantageous but not required.

About the position
We are looking for a Material Development Engineer who will drive material development within the field of electromagnetic application (EMA) based on soft magnetic composites (SMC). This includes the development of iron or alloyed-based powders, surface coatings as well as our customer's related component manufacturing processes like compaction and heat treatment.

You will work together with process experts within the concern to develop new SMC powder materials with new production processes and to support SMC material production.

Your profile
With an M.SC/Ph.D or equivalent in material science, chemistry, physics, or similar, you need to have knowledge of chemistry, physics, and materials. Experience within R&D in soft magnetic material is merit.

You are an innovative and result-oriented team player, well organized with experimental planning skills. You have good communication skills and get things done at the same time as you are motivated by conducting experimental work. Project management and problem-solving are also considered valuable skills in the position.
